Meet Your Nurse Doula

Full Circle, From Bedside to Boardroom Back to the Delivery Room

BSN, RN 20+ Years in Maternal Child Health DONA-Trained AWHONN Member

I'm Tiffany, founder of FL Nurse Doula. We have a team of experts ready to serve your family and design the best experience you could imagine.

I have spent my career in the spaces where families begin. I started at the bedside as a labor and delivery nurse, went on to lead as a Nurse Manager, and later served as Director of Women's and Children's Services, overseeing Obstetric Emergency, Labor and Delivery, Obstetric Surgery and Recovery, Mother-Baby, a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and Pediatrics. That vantage point gave me a deep, system-wide understanding of how birth care works, and where it too often falls short.

What drew me back to the labor room were the disparities in Black maternal and infant morbidity and mortality. Those realities moved me to step away from the boardroom and return to the bedside, to use my expertise to educate, advocate for, and support families through pregnancy, birth, and beyond.

I am trained through DONA (Doulas of North America), a member of AWHONN (the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses), and completing my G.R.O.W. (Guidance, Resource, Openhearted, Wisdom) Doula certification. Above all, I am here to make sure you feel informed, protected, and truly supported.

What Families Say

“Good morning Mrs. Tiffany! I had my son in 2013 and you were beyond amazing. I had to have an emergency c-section due to preeclampsia and he was born at 35 weeks and 5 days, weighing 3 lbs 9 oz. You and your entire staff made my stay amazing — thank you for your hospitality, unmatched bedside manner, and caring spirit. My son is now 12 and such an amazing young man, super smart and still thriving. A huge thank you to you, your staff, and the entire NICU crew. You will be forever appreciated. ❤️”

— Tacarra Thomas

“You weren’t there when my babies were born, but you taught me everything I know as a new grad. You made sure I had the tools I needed for an amazing 20-year labor and delivery nursing career. I’m so grateful you took an interest in me over 20 years ago. I can’t thank you enough, Tiffany!”

— Jaime Muller Kaples

“You were a part of my journey with my first born. You made sure I had my c-section safely when I wasn’t progressing, with my grandma, mom, and aunt in the room. You were the most caring and loving nurse, and you made sure I understood the whole process.”

— Shardae Jackson

“I was rushed to the ER thinking I was in labor, but it turned out to be gallbladder spasms. Tiffany took such good care of me while I was there. Overall, she was an amazing nurse.”

Chair, March for Babies — 2016

In 2016, I served as Chair of the March of Dimes’ March for Babies campaign for the Tampa Bay Division. Leading a volunteer committee of executive leaders, we set a goal to raise $300,000 to advance the research and programs that help prevent premature birth, birth defects, and infant loss — and give more babies a healthy start.
